Will Streule gained a BA(Hons) in Furniture Design and Craftsmanship in High Wycombe in 1994 and has been designing and making fitted and bespoke furniture ever since. Initially based in Cornwall, he now runs a small workshop near Thame producing bespoke furniture and specialist joinery items for architects and private clients. Will trained as a teacher in 2007 and headed up the Carpentry and Joinery department at Reading College, training apprentices and school leavers the skills needed for a career in construction with both Cskills and City and Guilds qualifications. He has also taught the more traditional Institute of Carpenters qualifications and was made a member of the IoC in 2008. Will is passionate about maintaining traditional art and craft skills and remains heavily involved in adult education both at Missenden Abbey and now at Wooburn Craft School, where he is delighted to have been invited to share this passion.
